TIES is a multimedia photographic series exploring the impermanence of memory and how it materializes through images and objects. Using photographs alongside materials like fabric, paper scraps, and paint swatches, the work examines the way memories aren’t static—they shift as we change. Photographs are often seen as frozen moments, but in this series, they are disrupted, layered, and reconfigured, mirroring the way recollection distorts, fades, and reshapes itself over time.

Through torn edges, overlapping textures, and bold contrasts, TIES actively engages with the function of memory—questioning not just what is remembered, but how memory itself transforms. The work resists nostalgia as a fixed point and instead embraces the evolution of personal history, suggesting that meaning is not preserved but continually remade.
